Summer Workshops!: The CB Team recently ran a day-long workshop at the Code4Lib conference in Ann Arbor, MI and we will be teaching a week-long workshop at DHSI the week of June 10. We’re finalizing our course for that week, but to see our course from last year, check out our 2023 course pack on osf.

CB Project Spotlight: Our latest blog posts feature reflections from three students in the LIS Student Program, Jenna Qi, Luming Zhang, and Allie Landry. Jenna writes about her collection on Visual Novels. Luming writes on her collection examining contemporary Chinese Art. And Allie writes about a collection of Toronto Street Art.

New CollectionBuilder Add-On

CB Add-Ons can be added to CollectionBuilder-CSV projects to extend their capacity for unique web files and visualizations. The following add-on was recently … added. (More to come!)

Online 3D Viewer: This self-contained, o3dv add-on allows you to add interactive 3-D items to CollectionBuilder. Online 3D Viewer is a library for rendering 3D model files on a web page. You can test your models in their browser-based viewer 3dviewer.net. This add-on uses the o3dv library to allow embedding an interactive 3d model into pages in your collection project.
